Here's the birdfeeder I had made at the Metal shop, shown above. It has a pizza sized base that's buried underground to keep it steady. I'm hoping squirrels won't be able to get up into it. We'll see.
The squirrels have not come to explore this free buffet yet. I know they are good at getting where they want to go. Just perhaps the thin pole and the height of the feeder will deter them. I'll report back in a while.
My money's on the squirrels! ;-)
